Justin Christopher came to us needing a book cover design as well as typesetting and design of the book's interior. His inspirational transformation story originated with a vision Justin had for the University of Texas at Austin. The optometrist test frames on the book cover are a simple representation of how Justin's vision has been refined over a period of ten years to see spiritual renewal and revival in UT's student and faculty population.
Design elements and typographic treatments from the book cover and optometrist frames are carried through the book's interior layout design. While researching other professionally designed books, we found that many had ignored professional typesetting design rules. This finding inspired us to make this a book design that stands out. Most importantly, it's the content, message, and readers of the book that benefit from a good book design.
